Junky Spot is US-based so it should come to you pretty quickly if you are also in the US. If you would like to buy your own Obitsu doll, a great place to check out would be the Junky Spot [ They sell the body parts and all the accessories there as well. ![]() I thought it would be nice to give you a comparison of what to expect from both the dolls feature-wise. Barbies are technically not in the BJD realm but then again the smaller Obitsu’s are not considered to be in the BJD realm either. So in terms of affordability Barbie is the winner. You decide the body, the material, the head, the bust, the feet, the hands and all those contribute towards the price of the doll. It is pretty much cafeteria-style pricing, you decide what you want when it comes to Obitsu dolls. Since there are so many options available it’s tricky to give you a number. However, I feel it is good enough until I can find a suitable replacement. On the other hand, for Obitsu you can’t really label just one number when it comes to the price. This is the doll who I want to body-swap today! She is Teresa from the Cali Girl line.Īnd here is the result! As you can see, Cali Girl Teresa’ skintone is much darker than the MTM Teresa’s, so it wasn’t an exact match. I wish they had gone with a different colour, as it looks pretty bad. She’s wearing the same thing as Nicki but in a green colour. I love the colour and she has a cute top-knot on top, too. Personally, I don’t really like it as it looks too… structured? Does that make sense? Like it looks too hollow and contoured. moving barbie doll price Made to Move Barbie Doll Review - YouTube moving barbie doll price Barbie Made to Move Doll, Dolls moving barbie doll price moving. If any more dolls come back in stock, I want to buy another one (or two, or three!) as I have lots of dolls with this skintone that desperately need MTM bodies! ![]() Maybe it would be good as sleepwear or as an activewear shirt. The pants look pretty ugly (I preferred the plain black leggings like in the first wave of MTM dolls), but the shirt is nice enough. Here you can see the details on her clothes. I don’t have any dolls to swap with at the moment, but I wanted to keep her as a backup as it is really difficult to find MTM dolls, especially ones that aren’t white. Overall, I think she is a nice enough doll, but I’m only interested in using her as a body donor as there is nothing particular special or unusual about her. Here’s a close-up so you can see the facial details. ![]() I picked Teresa and Nicki because I wanted to swap the bodies around, and I already have lots of white MTM bodies. You can see the other dolls available in the collection that I didn’t buy – a curvy redhead and a blonde Barbie. Pretty ordinary – just like the other Made to Move dolls but with a tropical theme. Today’s post is brought to you by some rosé that my boss bought me for Christmas.Īnyway! Here is the front of the boxes. So that’s today’s tip for you guys! If you live in Australia and you’re looking for this collection, check out Big W! Hopefully there will be more restocks to come. Lucky I did! There was only 1 of each variation left, and they sold out immedietely after. Somebody shared that they had found them at Big W, so I rushed off to buy some a few hours later. I was reading about them on a Barbie Collector page on Facebook, and lots of people in the comments were complaining that they hadn’t been able to find them yet. I got them both from Big W for $20 each, so $40 in total. Good evening, everyone! If you celebrate Christmas, I hope you had a fantastic day (and if you don’t – well, I hope you had a fantastic Friday!) I am SUPER happy because I got two new Barbie dolls from the rare, just released, brand-new Made to Move collection! (A little present to myself!)
